Tai's father is blind and as a result he cannot work. His mother cleans on the market and earns €24 a month. He has a youngster sister, who is in 11th grade of high school.
This year, Tai had been accepted to the university of architecture. His dream was to become an architect. He loves building thing, he has jus built an aquarium in the garden. The university fees for the university of architecture is only €500 per year higher than the other universities programmes, because you must pay all the materials yourself. For this reason he has now chosen for another university and he started at the university of technology and IT. With this education he thinks that there are good job opportunities. Until now he has not yet succeeded to find a palce to live in, in Danang, because he does not know a lot of people in the city. Each day, he goes by bicycle to Danang, in sum he spends 3 hours with travelling. He hopes he will find a payable place to live, so he can spend all his time on studying.. CoV will help him finding a place to stay.
Tai is a serious, timid and smart student who can reach much if he gets the chance. His wish to be able to continue studying is now fulfilled.

Hiep lives with her two sisters (9 and 12 years), mother and grandmother (of father’s side). Her father died 5 years ago and is honoured with a large altar in the living room. Her mother is mentally handicapped and mainly works on the rice paddy of the family. After her father died, the aunt of Hiep had moved from Danang to their village to assist the family.
Hiep has started this year at the university of tourism in Hoi An. She is still looking for a place to stay in Hoi An for the week days. At the moment she is still travelling up and down every day by bus.
All three daughters are excellent students. Hiep already speaks a little English. She hopes to become a tourist guide.
