By supporting several education projects Smart Tulip increases the access to education for poor students. All projects of Smart Tulip are screened based on the SMART criteria; objectives, activities and results need to be specific and measurable. Smart Tulip cooperates with local organisations and for 2007-2009 the following four research projects in Vietnam have been selected.

Saigon Children's Charity
As of 2009 Smart Tulip has supported fifty students in secondary school. As of 2014 Smart Tulip also started supporting students in tertiary education (vocational, college and university). In total Smart Tulip has supported 50 students in tertiary education. In 2018 30 of these students are stil studying in university.
